Daily Facial Cleanser:

This is an excellent nourishing, exfoliating and deeply cleansing facial cleanser that can be used every day. You will notice the improvement in your skin’s texture and tone in just a few days.

Basic Ingredients:

Green Clay – 6 parts

Organic Kelp Powder – 1 part

Organic Whole Yoghurt – 2 parts

Raw Honey – 2 parts

Optional Additional Ingredients:

Use one or more of these options to personalize this facial cleanser according to your skin’s individual needs. Exact proportions aren't vital, but these do not make up the bulk of the cleanser:

Essential Oils – for your skin type, 5 - 10 drops to every 30ml cleanser

Rosewater

Mineral Water – with the carbonation removed

Witch Hazel

Herbal Tea or Tincture

Vitamin E

Bromelain or Papaya Enzymes – use one opened capsule per 30ml cleanser

Oil – such as hemp, flax, olive, evening primrose.

Directions:

Blend all ingredients together in a bowl to form a stiff paste and store in a glass jar in the refrigerator. Apply to damp face, neck and chest in gentle circular motions, then remove with warm water. Leave on skin for 20 – 30 minutes 1 – 2 times a week for an excellent, deeply nourishing mask.

* To make this recipe vegan-friendly use soy yogurt and omit the honey.

* This scrub needs to be refrigerated. To make a non-refrigerated version, omit the yoghurt.
